WINDY MOUNTAIN YURT

Our Windy Mountain Yurt is outfitted for maximum comfort with a full two stories, one with a full kitchen and lounge, and the top floor with a 10 person bunk house. A wood stove, a full stock of firewood, water system, boot drying rack and a treehouse toilet provide all the amenities to give you the ultimate backcountry ski trip or course. In 2016 we added a wood-fired cedar sauna. Just a few steps outside the yurt, this is an awesome addition to the yurt zone!  

Our Windy Mountain Yurt is surrounded by amazing ski and snowboard touring terrain. Within a 5-10 minute cat ride your group can be at the top of open north facing bowls, long gladed runs, fun pillowed tree runs, and long rolling powder runs. The Windy Mountain yurt offers a variety of terrain and aspects for all weather and avalanche conditions. The Yurt is located perfectly to access this awesome terrain. 

Food and Menu Options

Most yurt trips include catering service. We offer many options to suit your group's dietary needs and tastes and work with you to plan menus.

Our staff chef prepares healthy, hearty, and delicious meals for you during your trip.

Overnight trips include all meals. We use local produce and meats whenever possible and specialize in hearty home-cooked meals served in family style. You won't be disappointed.
